Below are two reduced images of landscape sized (11 x 8.5) pages, which when backed up with itself, and cut in half, are handouts I use to promote interest and stimulate some discussion with people.

The first focuses initially on the significance of our lack of a Constitutional right to vote.

The second focuses initially on how and why 750,000 more Americans voted for Democratic candidates for the House, yet the Republicans still won 54% of the seats in the House.

Clicking on either of the images for these handouts will change the web page to the actual pdf (if you have the proper browser add-on installed), which you can then save, or perhaps better yet, right-click on the image and you can then save a download of the actual pdf file that can be used for making these handouts.

Copy shops need to be told specifically that this page is to be printed on both sides, so that the right half of the landscape formatted page backs up the left half of the landscape formatted page, and vice versa, followed by a cut so that the result is with two 5.5 x 8.5 prints cut from each 8.5×11 sheet with “Voters’ Rights and Representatives Amendment” heading the front side, and with that backed up by the text which has the heading of “Proposal for the 28th Constitutional Amendment” for each 5.5×8.5 sheet of paper.”

This needs to be made crystal clear to the person receiving the order. Less obvious, but apparently easier for some copy shops, is just to supply two copies of the same handout original and order two sided copies. It may seem self-evident that two copies of the same original for this is redundant, but it may be how the copy-shop culture has evolved, fast and faster and not much time to think about too many things.

Below are two reduced images of small posters that can be used to assist in distributing the proposal handouts.

This second small poster emphasizes that 750,000 more Americans voted for Democratic House candidates, but Republicans still won 54% of the seats in the House.

In any event, my deepest thanks to any who download this pamphlet and hit the streets spreading the good news.
